  • Food bank sorter and packager – Help is needed at the Northwest Harvest Kent Warehouse. Volunteers will sort bulk products and convert them into family-sized units.
  • Early morning cat crew: Volunteers are needed at the Regional Animal Services of King County, particularly during the morning hours. You will clean the cat cages and prepare the Cat Building for families looking to adopt a cat.
  • Help elders: You can make someone’s day a little brighter by helping seniors around the community. Elder Helpers can connect you with elderly folks who need help with various activities or would like company for a few hours. 
  • Read to children: Help children use their imagination by reading to them at various preschools throughout the area via United Way of King County. You’ll be reading to one or two children between the ages of 3 and 5.
