Help Keep Kent Clean by Joining Kent Station on May 17th

keep Kent cleanKent Station and the City of Kent are talking trash! Take pride in our community by joining us on May 17, 8 a.m. to Noon, as we Team Up 2 Clean Up Kent, a city-wide litter cleanup effort. The annual event pulls together local businesses, organizations and individuals in an effort to keep Kent clean by focusing on the areas most in need.

Although volunteers are encouraged to choose one of the three target locations, you can choose any community to clean up. The three target areas include:

  • East Hill – Checkpoint located at the Golden Steer Steak House parking lot
  • West Hill – Checkpoint located at Trinity Community Church
  • Downtown – Checkpoint located at Kherson Park

Grab some gloves and trash bags at any checkpoint and help clean up our community.

The family event encourages children of all ages, as well as groups and organizations, to band together and keep Kent clean. Join in the scavenger hunt as you search for trash and submit your photos for the “litter collection” photo contest.

Registration is free but ends May 14. Follow Kent Station and Signature Pointe Apartments on Facebook for updates and other community events.
