One thing that’s certain is that residents of our beautiful Signature Pointe apartment community can always use some tips on how to improve their home living experience. An important way to do that is to save energy. Saving energy means you’ll also save precious resources and money. Here are a few great energy-saving tips for apartment dwellers that should come in handy.
- Install a programmable thermostat in your apartment. This device will allow you to automatically adjust the temperature in your home while you’re sleeping or when you’re away.
- Always turn lights off when you leave a room. You should also rely on compact fluorescent light bulbs over regular incandescent bulbs because they use far less energy.
- Unplug electronics when you’re not using them. This will save a great deal of money and reduce the temperature of the room.
- Take showers instead of baths. Showers tend to use less water, especially when you have a newer low-flow shower head installed.
