Go for a Swim at Lake Meridian Park

Lake Meridian is a family friendly lake in Kent with a swimming area, fishing docks, and a small beach. The Kent fourth of July celebration is held here each year with an impressive fireworks display.

Attend a Thunderbirds game at ShoWare Center

ShoWare center in downtown Kent is home to the Seattle Thunderbirds, a hockey team who play in the 22-team Western Hockey League.

Several excellent restaurants are located at the Kent Station shopping center including The Ram Restaurant, Duke’s, and Mama Stortini’s.

Ride the Sounder Train at Kent Station

The Sounder Train stops at the Kent train station and takes passengers up to Seattle or down to Tacoma. 
 
Attend Kent Cornucopia Days in July

Kent Cornucopia Days is one of the largest fairs in the area featuring carnival rides, 600 street booths, and musical performances.

Attend a Football Game at French Field

French Field at Kent Meridian High School hosts the city’s high school football games including historic rivalries between Kentwood, Kentridge, and Kent Meridian.

Walk or Bike on Interurban Trail

Kent Valley Ice Centre offers ice skating lessons, public skating, and an outdoor 18-hole miniature golf course.
